| O.K. its taken me awhile - actually I got terribly sidetracked with many other projects. But During a clean up of my desk I found Josie's glamour shot taken at a recent debut in a pet fashion show at Petco! Here she is emanating that soul searching look of hers.... 
and this is what she wore:

aaaw, I bet she looked really pretty at the fashion show. did she win anything?

the petco here had that fashion show, but they only allowed cats and dogs to enter. I had made a joke to the cashier about dressing Aphrodite up and bringing her in and she said they werent allowing small animals as it may cause problems..

| DL, Your Petco needs a new mgr! Do you take your ferrets there for normal sniffing and shopping? Josie and I hit "the circuit" at least a couple times a month (Petco is weekly since that is where I have found the healthiest dinner guests for her). Our "Circuit" consists of Petco, Petsmart, Pet Supermarket, and the Pet Stop ( a private biz). Most of them know her by name and are tickled to see her. She just thinks they smell cool.... Its a shame your petco isn't more open minded - there weren't any problems at all at our fashion show and it had a huge turn out! No cats, but close to 40 entries with 8 of them being ferrets! | Wow talking about a ferret friendly community Josie's mom!! I haven't met anyone in person who has ferrets anywhere in CT....I know one of my coworker's sister has two ferrets but ???never met her...And my former neighbors had a couple....and.. poor things ... they didn't stay there for a long time I don't know where or how they ended up...sniff sniff...Besides that....nothing...I've never seen ferret owners at petco.... and rarely have seen ppl looking or being interested in buying fuzzies at petco.. And I found a brand new petstore quite a few miles away.. huge, super clean... they had the most clean fuzzy cage I've ever seen!!!!!!! I think it was called All Pets Club....very nice store...it even has an outdoor pond with pond fish for sale!!! I should "support" them financially haha...if it only were closer. Josie looks awfully cute in those pics. Haha Josie's mom how do you do that? Do you wake up every day and put a different outfit on her depending on the occassion? I'm not into dressing my pets.. (well maybe if I had a pocket dog) but this is soooooooooooooo cute!!!

| my local petco is full of stupid people... I almost just recently punched one of the workers in the face for saying ferrets sucked and he wanted to feed them all to his big snake.. The people at my petco arent ferret smart, and dont generally care much for them.. the ferret aisle will go weeks being half empty before they'll reorder stuff so im forced to go cross-state searching for their kibble sometimes. As for bringing the ferrets in to walk and search fors tuff, Ive done it a grand total of like 3 times. once with Kiba, once with Amon, and once with Titus who picked a toy by himself and got yelled at for "getting the toys snotty" while he sniffed for one he wanted.. I didnt tell them that he left them a gift under the toy wrack for being jerks. other than that, i dont bring them because most of the people there have really big, wild dogs and i dont need a $400 vet bill because of some dolt and their untrained dogs...

- I hear ya DL.
- I think one of the problems with people ("one" being sarcastic - we all know there's MANY) and their "untrained" dogs, is that the PEOPLE are "untrained" as well (or MORE SO)!!! People are so "ME, ME, ME" nowadays, they just don't see past their own noses (let alone CARE)!!! I think that's why "REAL" animal people (pets are family members, not trophies or "muscles" to show off) tend to be better people. We TRUELY care!!! We may be a bit crazy (I stress "a bit") but that's O.K. (isn't it?)!!!
- So, yes DL... alot of people ARE stupid!!!
