A true Angora ferret will have a cleft nose with hair in the nostrils and the hair grows to 1 or 2 inches in length. The hair can be corse or soft depending on the ferret. Their bodies are a little shorter allowing them to be great jumpers. The eye condition is unrelated and should be seen by a vet.
Ignorance and slander is a recipe for information disaster.

Hello there,
I am a German ferret breeder. I own 19 ferrets (or maybe they own me [ ] ) and 13 of them are full angora ones originating from Germany, the Netherlands, France or Denmark.
Here is a good example of an adult full angora ferret : usually it is bigger than a normal ferret (weight : around 2,5 - 3 kilo for a male), it has no undercoat but the hair itself is much longer compared to a shorthair or even half angora ferret (it can be around 15 cm long). Yes, and about the nose is said enough I think [ ]

Greetings from Gelsenkirchen,
Ricarda
