To get back to the topic,[]I never even tried to put a collar on my fuzzies. Like Luvmykaytee said it might not be the safest way, but their comfort (I think I've said that before in another topic[])is what matters to me.
Besides, if they spend most of their day in one room, there's no point having a collar.
Even when I took them to my parents' house and they had access to the whole house except the kitchen, bathroom and my brother's bedroom, I still didn't put a collar on them. They don't like it? They won't have it. Ferrets make the rules[]

Hello,
This is my first post and thought I would share with you all the idea I came up with on the collar situation. I have 7 little fuzzies myself and I wanted a way to tell them form one another and what better way than with a collar,right? Well all fine and well until those collars fall off and you find yourself picking up collars all over the place...LOL. What I put into motion is that of using girls hair tie back things (sorry,I do not know what they call them as I use them only for my ferrets.)

The great thing about these are that they come in many colors and they do not choke my ferrets nor do I have to worry about them catching on something as they do slip out of these from time to time (and they would slip off IF they did catch on something.) Now please note that I use these for telling one fuzzie from the other and have not tried using them with tags hanging from them (I do not think they would work for that.) BUT if you are like me and want a way to tell one fuzzie from the next,this is a great (and cheap) way to do so. By the way,my fuzzies are as follows: Commando Cody,Robin and Marian,Silver Star (who is deaf but do not let her know it...LOL),Lefty and Righty,and Lady Liberty.

Have a great day and hope to post more when I get a chance : )

God Bless and Keep Faith;

Hello, I saw this posting, I'm not sure if you are still in the forum since it is a pretty old posting, but I wanted to ask you or anyone out there for that matter, how your ferrets get along with your Maine Coons.
