Hi guys! Long time no see, hope everyone's doing well! [ ] I have a question that maybe somebody can give me some insight into. I recently got Kuma and KiKi a new cage (new HUGE cage, the Ferret Nation double floor one and OMG it's beautiful, with SO much room and they just absolutely LOVE it, I highly HIGHLY recommend it, it was only 155 from ferrets.com [ ]), and ever since we got it, KiKi won't use the litter box anymore. She poops and pees outside of it, usually right next to it [ !], and sometimes on the little level right above it. I've tried moving the litter box around so it covers the areas where she goes outside, but she just moves to another area. She used to have the problem of not using the little box, but our first ferret Pixel taught her how to, and I don't know how to break her of this little quirk. Has anybody else had this problem? Gotta go wrangle a Kuma (and a KiKi)!

| Ohhhh....nice BIG new cage...so much space, so little pee!!!! Probably just making sure cage smells like old one.....I spread papers out around litter box for those times when they just don't make it...so maybe you want to try some news papers so you aren't constantly wiping up messes... Good luck!

Have you changed any of the style of litter you are using in her box? Another thought, is her litter box clean enough for her little bottom? Ferrets can be finicky when it comes to their box. You could try putting some of her poop in the box and maybe it might help her remember where she is to put her bottom. Just thoughts.
