I was having a conversation with a new family member's girlfriend about ferrets the other night. Among the chatter, she mentioned she had a ferret as well. But she told me that her's was a rare special breed called a "Teddy Bear Ferret." I thought she might be mistaken and had a "Teddy Bear Hamster" but she insists that it is an actual breed and to google it. I did and nothing came up.
So my question is: Are there actually other breeds out there of ferrets? I came across something called an "Angora Ferret" in my hunt, but don't now if thats a fact or not.

I believe that there isn't different breeds of ferrets, except for the Angora. I've never heard of a Teddy Bear Ferret.

| I think some refer to the Angora as a Teddy Bear. Marshall's is a breeder, not a breed.
