| i am owned by 2 fuzzies, baby girl and neno my precious babygirl just passed,,,she was nearly 6 it came on very suddenly, and my vet ran all the necessary tests, ect. i am starting to understand that 6-7 is the max. life span for a ferret and maybe she just was suffering from the many diseases and old age that seem to plague our fuzzy friends. i joined the boards because ferrets are the sunshine of my life and give meaning to everything,,,,,everyday. i want a way to interact with other ferret lovers on a daily basis to discuss the many joys and sometimes heartbreak, and the many mysteries surrounding our lives with ferts. thanks and have a great day kim

So sorry for your loss. It's hard when our furchildren leave for Rainbow Bridge. Remember the good times. You will see your furchild again someday!
