I have 4 ferrets. 3 females and 1 male. Every time I let them out to play the male ferret grabs their scruff and tries to drag them around. We stop him before he gets far but it really scares me! +.+
Does anyone know why he does this???

If your male ferret has been neutered and is not suffering from an adrenal disease problem, this is normal play behavior and is used to assign positions in the "pack".  Unless there is urine/poop flying or blood is being spilled, let them work out their pecking order and just play.  Always seperate if a ferret messes itself out of fear or blood is being spilled.  If they can't get along and someone is being hurt, you may have to let the out "in shifts".
