Capybaras may be illegal in some states. I know Burmese pythons, and Nile monitors, will be illegal in some states in USA.

Gerbils and sugar gliders are also illegal in California. There is one type of aquarium fish called Neon fish (I think) thats illegal

^There's only 1 state (California) where ferrets are illegal, and about 5 states where hedgehogs are illegal. I think they are allowed in MI.

Most types of lizards are legal. Dogs and cats are legal. Rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters are legal. Can't think of anything else. The only other thing about this I know is that ferrets are illegal there, and I'm not sure but I think hedgehogs are illegal in California too.
