i personally have never heard that theory about mini lops. But every rabbit is different, so some might not dig in carpets and some will. Probably some rabbits prefer linoleum to carpet. You've heard the theories: "Small rabbits are jumpier and are more skittish than big bunnies," or "A big rabbit is best for little children." I think that it really depends on the rabbit.

Most bunnies dig and chew on the carpets. It's instinct.

But one thing you can do to prevent it is buying grass or hay mats for them to dig on. However, that carpet may have more appeal in the end. It's not a guarantee.

we babysitted a bunny before who wasn't a mini lop he dug the carpet. I wanted a mni lop but my dad says he doesn't want a bunny and I have heard mini lops don't chew/dig carpet!
