My strangest item would be by my little deaf girl... while doing some looting she found my ex's prom purse thats white and trimmed in fur, just like her. For 1 year now it has stayed with her. She sleeps with it, travels with it, and if any of the boys try to touch it, well, they wont touch it anymore.

and when my neighbor was walking his dog (which is about the same size as Bun Bun), Bun Bun ran in front of the dog but the dog seemed a little bit afraid of Bun Bun! (i was laughing though because the dog was a tiny little black dog with bows on her ears and the person walking the dog was some teenager listening to an iPod. it looked really funny lmao)

I don't have a ferret (just a rabbit, a hamster, a dog, 4 hermit crabs, and a fish) but Bun Bun likes to steal stuff. She stole my iPod (which is still missing, but I know she stole it because she was running around in my room and when I went into my room the headphones were half eaten and the iPod was gone), she's eaten a few library books. Yes, ONLY library books. Ugh. She's tried to eat salami (WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT RABBIT?!?!), she's shredded a few dresses and shirts, made an alarm clock explode, eaten drywall, scared my dog who's 10x bigger than her, and grabbed a sock right off my foot and hid it somewhere. I still haven't found it. Also, she tried to eat my hamster. That rabbit is demented lol. :/

My Kuda likes to steal my paintbrushes when i'm working on a canvas. Other than that its always in the empty pizza boxes and stealing anything off the living room table.

Okay I think the magazine is the best, but my boy Kuma, LOVES to steal high end electronics. The more expensive the better. He's taken my phone (didn't want my hubbie's because it wasn't as nice), both of our iPods, my Palm Pilot. That one was fun. We were at my friend's house and she was "watching" them, but somehow didn't notice Kuma getting into my bag, taking my brand new $400 Palm Pilot, and stashing it under her bed. I looked for it for a week, tearing apart my house, my car, my parents house, and that same friend's car before, in desperation, remembering that Kuma was heard doing something weird under her bed. Finally we found it. Kuma's never been left for her to "watch" again. *sigh* lol

My Lily is OBSESSED with tampons. One time when I was showering I let her run loose in the bathroom with me and she got into a brand new box and took out EVERY SINGLE ONE of the tampons and hid them behind the toilet. She goes wild over tampons! So strange... lol

tubes of fish flakes. my roomie left one on the floor and lulu started wearing it on her head, took it to the hidey hole and started sneezing once she got it off. i walked in a few minutes after to her sneezes and realized what happened. it was funny. to this day she will stick her head in socks and run around like some kind of half ferret sock monster. hahaha. also zero steals my phone and any stuffed animals, and sebastian always runs off with my feather boa.

I have five ferrets and they all like to steal different things... from shoes to wallets to plastic anything, but the strangest thing one of my ferrets likes to steal is my bras. If they are in the laundry basket they will disappear!

One of my boys, Snoopy, is obsessed with bubble wrap! I own an online store, and whenever a shipment comes or goes, he can "smell" the bubble wrap and will not stop until he steals some! There is a huge stash under all of our dressers. Here is a list of other items they've stole: maxi pads, tampons, napkins, bananas, cotton balls!, flip flops, egg cartons, shoe insoles!, stuffed animals... the list goes on...

One of our tiniest girls (Baby Doll) has a shoe fetish. The strangest thing is, being so tiny she shouldn't be able to take off with a work boot that weighs probably twice as much as she does. Hubby got ready to go to work one morning and his work book was nowhere to be found. We looked for 15 minutes before finally finding it in Baby Doll's favorite hiding place, under the desk and behind the tool box, with teeth marks on the sole.

I had a ferret who stole some odds things in his time. I heard some noise coming from the hallway and saw my ferret dragging my pants down the hall (I had left my wallet in the pocket and I guess he figured he'd go for the whole thing! Also, shoes of all sorts, a ring, which I thought I had lost and found in the corner of his room 6 months later, and oddly, packs of cigarettes from the purses of unsuspecting guests, who put their purses on the floor. Regardless of zipper, clasp or buckle, he was the best at opening purses. Oh yes, Christmas ornaments as well - my wife had some felt ornaments and one of them went missing. We thought we had thrown it out with the tree, but found it under the ferret cage several months later.

Two of my 8 babies (Pinkie and Abigail) are notorious for stealing things that tend to embarass the female guests in my home...I always warn my friends to hang their purses on my coat rack to avoid the ferret raid that is bound to happen if they leave their purses, even though they may be zipped, within their reach. Yes, they CAN unzip purses, and their favorite though strange thing that usually comes out and gets hidden?? Pinkie searches for tampons, while Abigail looks for the maxi pads. Not sure what their obsession with these two items are, but that's probably the strangest thing that my babies like to steal...

my fiance has this rubber chicken that crows when you squeeze the belly. Well Smudge decided that he liked it so much that he would take off with it. He climbed up three shelves to get to it and then hid it under our dresser. I the chicken later crowing...and found Smudge jumping on it! It was hilarious! Other than that, he likes stuffed animals. Stinky likes to just likes to try and take off with socks when they're still on your feet...

Oliver loves to steal my wallet. More than once when my purse has been left open on the bed I've found him climbing out with my pink Hello Kitty wallet in tow. Once he nearly made it all the way under the bed with it XD

The only thing I can remember that really stands out is my wallet. It was just sitting on my desk chair didn't think my little Zoey would steal it-infact it didn't cross my mind! I came bakc an hour or so later it was gone! Found it in her hidey hole at the time (the 1st place I look for lost items)

Well we had a stock of toothbrushes, since Cocoa would steal hubby's (and yes only hubbies) toothbrush almost daily.

The other was a baby Jesus figurine from a Christmas desplay one year. I don't know if it was Cocoa or Bear who stole him. I found it when we moved later. Of course they couldn't have stolen a goat or something!

My Baby kept trying to steal an old plastic snack bag of pretzel crumbs from the garbage. No idea what she needed pretzel crumbs for. (I think she just likes to steal plastic bacs regardless of contents.)

Besides the "normal" items - pens, pencils, socks, watches, remotes, cell phones, etc., one of my ferrets stole a video tape box - I guess he wanted to watch a certain movie and not let the others in on it. Recently, one of my boys, Scooter, swiped my slip off the bed, and decided he was going to cuddle up in it. Dooks!

A rock!!! I had a rock on my desk as a paper weight and one day it disappeared, it was gone for 4 months. I was moving out of my apartment and when i lifted the box spring i heard something rolling around, i found the hole Wezel was using to get into it and i found the rock, socks, my dress wallet and about a pound of food stashed away. Wezel is my alpha female and only weighs 1lb 7oz the rock had to be 3 lbs and round, for the life of me i cannot figure out how she got in there, the rock is now her's and she scoots it all over the place.
