Please help!

Could you possibly find out if a friend, family member or near-by neighbor would be willing to come to your house a week or two before you leave and practice handling your guinea pigs? That way you can help teach the person everything they'll need to know about pet-sitting a piggie and your pets will get a chance to get used to and familiar with the pet sitter?

Other options would be too see if there are any exotic pet boarding facilities, veterinarians that board pets, or rescues that offer pet boarding in your area.

I also found these articles on SmallAnimalChannel that you might find helpful.

This article has some good tips near the bottom about what info to leave for a pet sitter:
Guinea Pig Travel Tips
http://www.smallanimalchannel.com/guinea-pigs/guinea-pig-housing/guinea-pig-travel-tips.aspx

The Script for AnimalNetwork's 'Yes You Can' PSA video contest also has some good tips in it that you can use:
http://www.smallanimalchannel.com/critter-contests/psa-scripts/pet-vacation.aspx

I NEED AN ANSWER! I am getting two new male guinea pigs tomorrow. I have been researching guinea pigs for over 5 or 6 months now, and my father gave me permission. We live in a country kinda area so neighbors are kinda far away. Anyway, i will be doing things on the summer holiday, at the most be gone for a week, i need to know what i do for the care for the guinea pigs. I don't know any one around me who knows a lot about them, what do i do to make sure they are looked after? I need an answer really really fast! Thank you.
