Very very impressive (your boss's attitude towards fuzzies).. Wish all petstores were like that! Let me guess. It's a private owned petstore right? I mean it's not a chain like petco or petsmart.

There's a petstore like that in our area... the fuzzy cage is in a room, and they take the fuzzies out of the cage let them roam in the room... Birds, parrots too. They come out of their cages, on a stand...but it's not a chain.. and much more expensive and rather smaller than petco or petsmart...they don't even carry many varieties of fuzzy food. But the care they provide their animals with is great...

Anyways.. sounds like Luke will have a chance to a good home in the near (hopefully) future...Great job Monkeypooh![^]

Thanks Skunk, yeah, its a private petstore. I wish the chain stores were like this though.

Luke 'relapsed' today and starting biting again. My mom came to the
store to visit me and see 'luke'. Well he bit her on the hand....and
his back tooth came out!!!! Thats right! It was STUCK in my mothers
hand when he pulled away! [:O] Every since his tooth came out he has not bitten ONCE or even nibbled! NOW I know why he was biting so much! Poor baby! That tooth was probably really hurting him, now that its out I can tell he feels ALOT better. I saved his little tooth as a 'reminder' of him once he gets sold.

lol they call me the 'ferret whisperer' at my work!!!

Aaaw, poor baby. All he wanted was to chew things to get rid of that tooth. hopefully with the tooth gone he'll start to be calmer.. And welcome to the club of the "ferret whisperers" lol. I get called that by Damon (daddy of wranglo, nibbles and thor).

That's good news G.
Sorry we have not posted lately. Been pretty
busy, went on a road trip to Louisville,KY, and
of course the ongoing saga of Izzy and Brut.
Don't think they'll ever get along[]. So dealing
with 2 SEPERATE fuzzies is a bit of a pain.
Iz REALLY hates the "house divided" thing.
She has been "protesting" the best way she
can, NOT using the newspaper. Even worse,
she has started to go on the carpet.
"Good thing we got her a PLAYMATE!!!"
Anyway... Brut is fine, he does his thing. He
actually has pretty good paper habits. Close
to 75% of the time.
It's great that you got a job in a pet store, G.
What a great thing for you AND the critters.
Glad to se you have settled in. Hope all else is
well with you guys. And like Darklight said,
"Welcome to Being a Ferret Whisperer". I
have that "title" and effect with Izzy.
That's it for now, Gotta go.
Later, Matt and Kristi (Iz & Brut)

P.S. -  Hey Nicole, how are the wedding plans
going, and when is it again???

Aww man Matt, I'm sorry that Iz and Brut are STILL not getting along. That really stinks! I was sure she was going to come around...eventually. Sorry you've got a stubborn fert on your hands. Thats gotta be rough keeping the two of them seperate. You guys are in my thoughts.

PS- yeah nicole, when are you gettin hitched missy?[]

August 15th at noon is the big day and time. the wedding plans are going in 2 directions, whats done and what we're being lazy about. I dont think I ever posted a pic of the dress, so I'll add that below. dont mind the face- me and mom had picked up the dress and were trying to get my veil and head peice and I saw the price of tulle on a cheap comb. All I can say is that the little pearls and crystals better be real for what they charge. I knew I should of just wore my prom tiara and made my own, but my grandmother was having a fit that I get everything new (so she paid the outrageous price for the head gear).. As for mike's little jobs for the wedding, i'll be better off going to get his tux for him. we've still gotta figure out when we're going downtown to pick up the paper work and such, we've still gotta pay the Rev. whos doing the ceremony.. All sorts of fun
