Hi

I just convinced my dad to get a ferret, but one of the conditions was that I would have to find a place to put him during the summer, petsmart Pethotels dont accept ferrets and no vets will either. Plus I am not THAT comfertable with a pet sitter?

It sounds like a pet sitter is your only option. It may help you to be more comfortable if you get a good friend to do it for you, and you can invite him/her over and see how he/she handles the ferret and how your ferret reacts. You may be more comfortable with a pet sitter if you know it's someone you trust and your ferret likes. Good luck!
