| Hi everyone, As some people may know from other posts, I have 2 ferrets with Waardenburg Syndrome - meaning that they are deaf. One is about 8 months old and the other is about 7 months old. When I let them out to play together they get really rough as they both cannot hear each other scream when they have had enough. I am worried since recently they are causing cuts on each other where their scruff is. No large amount of blood is ever drawn but you can see where the teeth marks are, and they brake the skin. When this happens I put one away and clean off the bite but next time it happens again. I know they don't understand because they don't hear one another, so I have to keep a close eye on them. Other than that they are buddies and will play and occasionally sleep together during play time. (For now they have seperate cages). Does anyone have any advice on how I can stop the rough behaviour? Thanks, Ashley and ferrets Sox, Chance aka Nol, Chase aka Stu

I would just keep an eye on them other than that they will work it out for themselves. When one does bite to hard it will pounce back hard on the other one and visa versa, after a wile they will get the idea.
