hiya i have an albino ferret about 1 year and 8 months old and she keeps bitting my wrists. i have being trying the bitter apple spray and it does not bother her at all.
i have also been trying the scruff and saying no to her but when i put her down she goes right back and bites me hard then before if she has the chance, though she hasn't been drawing blood.
does anyone have any ideas on how i could get her to stop bitting me or at least get her to lighten up on the bites so they are not as hard

I have an albino too! Anyway, try getting her some toys. Maybe a little ball on a string to distract her from biting. Do NOT hit her! She will bite even more. If this does not work, use some hot sauce. It should work better than something sour. Well, Good luck! {It worked for my ferret that insisted on biting my toes}

| I have 20 ferrets and have had ferrets for several years. I have rehabilitated a number of ferrets for their owners and have always had great success. I, and you, will get bitten in the process. It just is part of the process. When ferrets bite each other too hard they don't just "take it". They grab the offending ferret by the neck, twist, and hold them to the floor until they cry "uncle". I am not suggesting you be mean, do anything out of anger, or behave in an uncontrolled fashion. You do not want to harm your baby, just send the message to stop. When your ferret bites or mouths you, grab the skin on the side of the neck, twist, and hold to the floor until the ferret stops resisting. Repeat until desired action has been reached. Only use enough force to subdue the ferret. Be sure to give love and cuddles when you get the desired response. You want him/her to know it is loved, but you will not be abused. They don't take this behavior from each other, you shouldn't. Give him/her long enough and they could become a bully.
