Neutered our male 4/08. We waited until 9/08 to put the male and female together.
End of Feb 09, we thought our female was getting fat Of course a pregnancy was the last thing we suspected...
March 8 we realize she's pregnant
March 12 she is in distress - we take her in for emergency c-section. She was distressed too long, we lose all 4 babies, and a couple of hours later we lose her.
How did she get pregnant??
We want to file a small claims suit against the original vet. They want the male examined by a "guinea pig expert". Is there any logical explanation as to what could have happened?

It was a guinea pig .... and yeah, I'd say it's rare!
Can guinea pig testicles grow back???
I'd crack some jokes here if it weren't so sad...
