| Hello everyone. I was wondering if we could all get together to make all of our ferrets healthier and live longer, healthier lives. I was wondering if anyone would like to respond about what their ferrets are eating, like Marshalls, Totally Ferret, Innova.... etc. Just wanting to help new ferret owners with the best diet. I have owned ferrets for 18 years, and have had one live 11 years. I work with a vet that is considered to be the ferret expert here in Colorado. Please feel free to stop by Dakota and Sammy's page. Thanks to everyone... Happy feedings

I feed my two lovely boys ZuPreem ferret food. I would like to switch them to Totally Ferret, but they haven't even adjusted to the ZuPreem, yet, and I lack the funding for Totally Ferret.
I believe they were previously on Marshall's ferret food, while they were at the Petco.

| Hi! I am a new ferret owner. I have 4 ferrets. Two males, two females. All of mine are Marshall ferrets, although I got them all individually as they were being rehomed on craigslist. One was on Marshalls food when we got her. One was on poor quality cat food. One was (no kidding) given hog food. The last one that we got about three weeks ago is on 8 in 1 ultra blend select. They are all on/or being changed to Marshalls ferret food. However, I've recently been talking with other enthusiasts and found out that Marshalls is considered an adequate, though mediocore food. Since learning this, I have decided to eventually change over their food to EVO maybe mixed with Blue Mountain Wilderness cat food for maximum protein and hopefully to prevent them from getting adrenal gland disease.

| I have been looking into a lot of ferret foods and I have found that the best I have found seems to be Wysong ferret Archetypal 1 it is almost all meat, not fillers. I also found that buying it online is cheaper than the ZuPreem from the pet store which is what I feed mixed with Iams Kitten chow. I am working on switching my ferrets as soon I have less zupreem because I buy in bulk.

I currently am feeding a mix of about 5 different ferret/High quality cat foods
Evo ferret, Wysong archetypeII, Wellness core, Blue Buffalo duck, and Instinct.
My food bill is about $120 for about 4 months for 5 ferrets.
I also feed Archetype I as a treat, however only 2 of the 5 like it.

| I feed my ferret raw food. If I were to feed kibble it would be a mix of Totally Ferret, Evo Ferret, and Wysong. Although I doubt it will ever come to that, raw has been the best option for me.

| I feed my ferrets Drs. Foster and Smith brand Superior Choice Original Ferret Diet. They love the taste and will not touch any other food now. I had no problem switching them to this food. I found them picking the DFS food out of their bowl and leaving their old food I had mixed with it. From the research I did, it is a great quality food for ferrets. I buy in bulk... a 20 lb. bag costs me $29.99 and lasts quite a while for my 3 ferrets. I keep it in an airtight container.
