SiameseRat14 (2/18/2011) I have 3 very adventerous rats! 2 fancy and 1 dumbo. Coffee Bear(fancy) is an amber color, Doddie(fancy) is a black hooded and Robin(dumbo) is a dark gray hooded. Im looking for a male rat that hasn't been neutored; i've always wanted to breed my rats since i was in 4th grade. Plus i'd love to expand my rat family so i can have a bunch of crazy rats running around! but first things first i need the proper supplies to support so many! I know this is an old thread, but I do think breeding is an important enough topic that I wanted to reply specifically to this post for the benefit of any who read this thread. I'm not going to offer my personal opinion on this, but please do extensive research before making a decision on breeding, how to care for them properly, how to deal with emergencies, the expected cost of proper care, what pairings to avoid, and the ethics of breeding at all: Before considering breeding, please look at the following informational links. These are just four of many, many excellent sites: http://www.afrma.org/rminfo7a.htm http://www.80stoysale.com/ratbreeding.html http://ratfanclub.org/repro.html http://www.ratz.co.uk/breeding.html

In answer to the topic at hand I've got six big manrats. 3 black-- Jeffrey, Tucker, and Black Pete (Jeffrey and Tucker after the book 13 Alabama Ghosts and Jeffrey; and Black Pete after the Netherlands St. Nicholas Day character Zwarte Peit) 2 hairless-- Melon and Skinner (after the bands of Blind Melon and Lynyrd Synyrd) 1 black eyed siamese-- Zmei (Play on 'siamese' and from Zmei Gorynich from Russian Folklore)

I had 4 sweeties but three of them passed away but I still have one my sweet hearts. Her name is Nutmeg and she was my favorite girl from the start. I got her as a Christmas present in 2010.
