| A couple of days ago my family brought home our first ferret. It is a lot of fun but right now it just seems interested in exploring the house and sniffing everything. Is this normal and will she want to play more once she is situated in her new home? Thank you.

This is natural for ferrets to do at first but after awhile she will stop investigating so much and she will play with you more often afterwards.

| Thank you very much. I figured that was what it was but I wanted to make sure.

After she gets settled in to her new surroundings she will play with you more.

My ferret Chaos got home yesterday and is getting to know my dog. He's super playful and loves to nip at my ankles. I'm sure that in the future he will steal anything on the floor. I have high hopes that my ferret will enjoy his new home.
