| I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on litter training a rabbit. She just seems to like to lay in the litter box and goes to the bathroom outside the box. Also how would you get a rabbit to stop going to the bathroom while out of there cage. Thanks this is my first rabbit

| Hi! I read that you need to be sure to place it in the same spot they already go in. Also you may have to put some of the soiled litter in there so she gets the idea. After I got my gorgeous bun spayed she had 1 or 2 accidents the next week then no trouble after that. spaying also helps them cut the chances of getting cancer. if you have any other questions i'd be happy to help. | If you watch them they will pick a corner they like best. Once this is done, put the litter box in this corner along with some soiled litter until they "get it." It took my rabbits a while to become fully litter trained, as they would still go in random places when we let them out of the cage, but after a few months it became a rarity for them to even drop the smallest poop ball when outside the cage. They are such easy going pets.
