| Has anyone had any luck getting their mice to eat pelleted food or lab block? My vet wants my mouse to eat pelleted food but she doesn't like it and won't eat it. She much prefers sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, all the "goodies" instead. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

My mice in the past had no issues with eating Pelleted foods. My recommendations would be to leave the pellets in there and not to offer her any treats for a few days so she will figure out that this is her food. Unfortunately, seed mixes have a lot of unnecessary ingredients and mice (just like children) will eat all the junk instead of the good stuff.
Pelleted foods I recommend are Oxbow and Harlan Teklad.
Another good addition to the pellet is giving your mouse a fresh "salad" everyday or every other day,
Dark Leafy greens (no iceberg!)
Tomatoes
Grapes
carrots
etc.
here is a great site on fresh foods you can give your mouse

(its for rats, but mice and rats are very similar)
