my hampsters real tired all the time and gaining some weight. i dont know whats wrong. she's still eating the same food as usual and she's drinkin water regularly and using the bathroom as usual. the only difference we've made to her cage is we switched her bedding to kaytees soft sorbent lavender to help control the odor. what could be the problem with her?? someone please give me advice!!

He might have an allergy to the new bedding,lots of times scented bedding isn't the best choice.So,just switch back to your old bedding and try handling him more often.Sometimes if hamsters aren't handled enough they become depressed and lazy.Just make sure she is still eating,drinking and going to the bathroom reguraly and if he starts acting abnormaly have him checked out.Hope this helps!

IT DEPEND HOW OLD SHE IS. IF SHE IS OLD, TAKE HER TO A VET. AND HER TIME MAYBE COMING. BECAUSE THATS WHAT HAPPENED TO MY HAMSTER IF SHE IS NOT OLD, MAYBE SHE IS SICK SO TAKE HER TO THE VET. THANKS.
