my rats have lice or mite i dotn know. i dont wan tto use ivermectin because their only 6-5 weeks old. is there any spray or shamppoo that i can use? or a house hold remedy?

Do you have a vet that you can call for a consultation? Rats have sensitive skin so you need to be careful when using shampoo on them.

can i use this product it works on mice so can i use it on my 6 weeks old rats? i have tried melafix mixed with johnsons baby shampoo and one of my rats now has a red crust on its nose i know what it means that they are stressed and is it from the bath or mites

you see i cant because i cannot find a vet that serves small animals in my area

| at one point in time i think one of my rats had mites/lice. they looked like little white oval balls. i wash my rats with puppy shampoo or you could possably us kitten shampoo. none of my rats like baths and they tell me with the little gifts they leave behind. but washing is necessary to get rid of ickky little pests like mites/lice.
