Check out these articles on hamster illness to help you gauge what might be the issue with your hamster. A vet is always your best bet at diagnosis.

Lots of times those symptoms are nothing to worry about, when I first bought my hamster she had the same thing.I bought a book about hamsters and it said that when you first buy a hammy from a petstore,if you feed it a different food then what the petstore fed it then it would confuse it's digestive system and it  might get wet tail.Your hamster however, did not have wet tail just a confused system.Overall your hammy sounds healthy and happy!

Whoever said money couldn't buy happiness, has never been in a pet store!
