I had my guinea, pig Ginger, for 5 or 6 months, she got sick with pneumonia, and we took her to the vet. the vet and I both believed that she was going to be okay, but she died. I didn't post any thing about her death, because she died July 2nd, right before the holiday. I didn't want to post anything negative when everyone was celebrating.

I forgot to post that I had Ginger cremated. I was afraid to bury her in case some animal dug her up and ate her body.

| Thank you for your support. Two weeks after Ginger died, I bought a male guinea pig that I named Henry. I have had him for about 10 months, and he is thriving. When I had Ginger, I used aspen bedding which caused her to sneeze a lot. After she sneezed for awhile, she started coughing, and that's when I took her to the vet. With Henry, I use Sunseed Fresh World bedding which is made from recycled newspaper and magazines. It's working well for Henry.
