I feed my Holland Lop rabbits who are 3 years and 5 years of age Timothy pellets, Timothy Hay, you can find this at local petstores. Also every couple days I give them fresh fruits and veggies such as
carrots (not to much though have alot of sugar!)
celery
kale
lettuce
herbs
apple
and lots of other greens just check on websits what is edible for rabbits!

Don't feed him alfalfa based food! My bunny (Bentley) has diarrhea every 2 weeks due to his owner before me having kept him on only alfalfa. I have had a vet confirm this, alfalfa is just legumes, it has no substance/protein, but it is EXTREMELY addictive to rabbits. Feeding them alfalfa can and usually does lead to life-long digestive issues.
Timothy hay/timothy hay based food is the best way to go.
I apologize if I sound a bit pushy, but this is coming from a person who has to wash the ENTIRE bunny every 2 weeks because of it.
Try a food like this one, it's always pretty cheap and is timothy hay based, not alfalfa.
