Hey! I do not have a rabit, but I have piggies and know some stuff on them! ( And always willing to do research because I love animals.) So tell me what kind of training. Perhaps potty training? I am willing to try to give the best answer! So feel free to ask.P.S Got any other pets or guinea pigs?

I have an article on potty training on my website under articles. Hope that helps. But other than that there's not all that much training you can do with rabbits, they are not like dogs. Yes you can train some things but REALLY have to keep with it (check into 'rabbit agility').

| what did you have in mind for traning? just litter box training, recall, or tricks? You can in fact train rabbits quite a few things as they are very intelligent. A great starter for training is clicker training. Start off with getting them used to the click meaning they get a treat, so click than reward, click than reward, etc. After they get that idea start off with a target stick.. put the stick in front of them (don't shove it into their face, this will only make them angry) and wait for them to touch their nose on the desired end, once they do this, right away, click and treat. Eventually they will get the idea and from here you can train your rabbit to do so many things, ringing a bell, jumping through hoops, and going through different obstacles. I volunteer at an animal shelter with the rabbits and this is a great way to keep their intelligent minds healthy and active while giving them something fun to do so they don't get bored! Keep in mind though that unlike bigger animals, rabbits have very short attention spans, and training sessions should stay within about a 10 minute range once or twice per day!
